Fertilizer Distribution: MOE Union Minister inspect Myaugdagar Fertilizer Factory

Union Minister for Energy U Myo Myint Oo visited No.4 Fertilizer Factory (Myaungdagar) on 5th November.

Officials reported on the production process of the factory, and the Union Minister stressed the needs to prioritize for meetign the set quality and operation at full capacity.

He then inspected the production process of Urea fertilizer, packaging, laboratory, control room, tissue banana plantation and sports faciltiies for physical fitness of the staff.

The Ministry of Energy is striving to provide the needs of Urea fertilizers with the use of raw material natural gas, extracted from the inland plots.

About 300 tons of Urea fertilizers have been produced per day from No.4 Fertilizer Factory (Myaungdagar) and No.5 Fertilizer Factory (Kangyidaunt) under the Myanma Petrochemical Enterprise. The produced fertilizers have been distributed to the farmers with reasonable price through the regiona and state governments.
