Lashio Tazaungdaing festival: Lashio Tazaungdaung festival is to be held for 4 days

The opening ceremony of Lashio Tazaungdaing and hot balloons launching festival is going to be held on 6th November. 

This year, Lashio Tazaungdaing festival will be re-celebrated as the fourth time since it has been held starting from 2016 in-front of Sinn Shweli Theater within the precinct of Yantaingaung Sutaungpyae MyoOo Pagoda.

In 2022, along with consecration ceremony for the four Buddha images within the pagoda, the four-day Tazaungdaing festival of Lashio in northern Shan state is included four events such as opening ceremony of newly built People’s Park on the 4th, charity feast on the 5th, and releasing various forms of decorated balloons on the 6th and 7th of November respectively. Along with festival, music concerts, traditional dances and fun activities will also be included, it’s learnt.
