Meeting with Tatmadawmen: Senior General held meeting in Dawei

Chairman of the State Administration Council Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing met with the military officers, Tatmadawmen and families of Dawei Station on Friday.

The Senior General explained the political progress of the country. In his speech, the Senior General said the major task of Tatmadaw is the defence duty for the nation. But at present, Tatmadaw is taking the responsibility of the state and is carrying out the stability of the state and development. He stressed the needs to strive for promoting the defence power of the nation, and urged all to conduct constant training for capacity building.

The Senior General and wife later presented foodstuff and cash assistance for the Tatmadawman and families and Maternal and Child Welfare Association.

The Senior General and wife and party also visited the Station Military Hospital and encouraged the patients.

In the evening of 3rd November, the Senior General and wife visited ShweTaungSar Pagoda in Dawei and paid homage to Lawka Marazein Buddha Image. They also made cash donation for the all-round renovation of the pagoda.
