COVID-19 Update: 81 new COVID-19 cases reported on November 1

The Ministry of Health has been accelerating COVID-19 prevention, control and treatment measures and procedures. The Ministry reported 81 new COVID-19 cases at 8 p.m. on Tuesday after testing 9,757 patients within 24 hours.

At the time of the report, there’s one patient who died due to the disease while 142 patients have recovered. Confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Myanmar have reached 631,797 with 19,483 deaths and 605,873 COVID-19 patients have been discharged from the hospitals.

The World’s worst-hit countries are the United States of America, India, France, Germany, Brazil, the Republic of Korea, the United Kingdom, Italy, Japan and Russian Federation, according to the World Health Organization. Globally, as of 4:53pm CET, 1st November 2022, there have been over 627 million confirmed cases of COVID-19, including over 6.57 million deaths.
