Work committee meeting: Meeting on construction of decorated floats held

The work committee for the construction of decorated floats of the central committee for organizing 75th Anniversary Diamond Jubilee Independence Day held the first coordination meeting at the ministry of construction, Nay Pyi Taw in the morning on November 1st.

At the meeting, the union minister for construction U Shwe Lay said that In line with the construction work, two phases of frame construction for decorated floats and final touching with Myanmar traditional figure and mural are divided. In the phase of constructing frame, it’s needed to be solidified to be with standable the weighs of displayed items loaded on the vehicle

. The structural materials are needed to use steel angle and C-Channel. The aluminium hollow is used for side bars and the frame must be constructed by adhering plywood. It should take time since the present moment for the availability of fine works regarding with the Myanmar traditional figure and mural, sculpture, painting and traditional cultural monuments, and the major efforts of the ministries.

The collective discussion is demanded for the successful participation of the ministries, regions and states governments with the parade floats. Next, the committee vice chairman deputy director of military engineers Brigadier General Khin Maung Aye clarified the specifications to be complied with the construction of decorated floats and processes to be collaborated.

Then, the work committee secretary and committee members who are the regions and states ministers, permanent secretaries from the ministries and directors general gave suggestions on organizing 75th Anniversary Diamond Jubilee Independence Day successfully and in grand scale and the work committee chairman coordinated necessaries to complete the decorated floats within the specified time, it’s learnt.
