





Leading Committee on organizing the National Landmark Sculpturing and Painting Youth Camp for LMC Fine Arts Students held a meeting which is under the Mekong-Lancang Cooperation.
In the meeting at the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Culture, Union Minister U Ko Ko stressed that today, it is important to promote cultural exchange and mutual understanding to strengthen communities.
With the development of technology, some arts and crafts are faced with the situation of almost disappearing. To discover, share and preserve the arts and crafts, the National University of Culture and Arts (Mandalay) will host the National Landmark Sculpturing and Painting Youth Camp for LMC Fine Arts Students through hybrid system from the 26th to the 30th of January 2023, the Union Minister added.
Attendees discussed and reported on formation of work committee and sub-committees and plans for the upcoming event. It’s reported that the National University of Culture and Arts (Mandalay) hosted the Lancang-Mekong Cultural Exchange Youth Camp and Lancang-Mekong Puppet Festival. The upcoming National Landmark Sculpturing and Painting Youth Camp for LMC Fine Arts Students is the 3rd event the University will host.
