Inspection of Power Substation: MoEP Union Minister inspected Kalaw Substation

Union Minister for Electric Power U Thaung Han accompanied by Shan State minister for natural resources U Sai Leik and departmental officials inspected the status of electric power distribution of Kalaw Main Sub Station under the department of power transmission and system control (DPTSC) in Kalaw Township, Shan State (South) in the afternoon on October 22.

First, the director general U Thura Aung Bo of the department of power transmission and system control and officials clarified the facts of substation and status of electric power distribution.Responding to the clarification, the union minister instructed to transmit the power constantly with full safety, utilization of full power volt by the public, firmness of electrical appliances using in substation, transformers and power lines and carrying out regular maintenance systematically, reducing power losses and outages, cleaning inside and outside of the substation and having security awareness and inspected the status of power distribution and load balancing in current power lines and transformers in the system control room and switchyard, it’s learnt.
