Management Skill: A workshop for township education officers opened

A workshop on the management skill for the township education officers and assistant directors was opened at the Ministry of Education in Nay Pyi Taw, Wednesday.

At the event, Deputy Minister for Education U Zaw Win said that the workshop is the discussion of important persons in carrying out academic activities. The townships will develop depending on the management skill of the township education officers.

The deputy minister said that an education officer is the main responsible person to develop the education sector of the township and they needs to enhance their capabilities as well as the qualifications of principals and teachers who work together with them.

The education officers are urged to conduct field trips for learning of the students and drawing plan in implementing educational tasks. He also called for beautifying of the schools, enhancing educational staff and good management skills, participation of people and community in implementing academic affairs. The aim of this workshop is to enhance the capacity of educational staff and ensuring good management skills. The workshop will be held till 16th October.
