VSG in Russia: Paying homage to Sayadaws & meeting Dy. Defence Minister

Myanma Tatmadaw delegation led by Vice Chairman of the State Administration Council Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services, Commander-in-Chief (Army) Vice Senior General Soe Win on 26th August visited Myanmar Theravada Buddha Vihara (Moscow) and paid homage to the Residing Sayadaw.

They received the Five Precepts from the Sayadaw and donated offertories. The Vice Senior General and party later visited the Russian Ministry of Defence, and met with the Russian Deputy Defence Minister A.V Fomin. They discussed the future plans to be implemented between the two armies with mutual respect, trust and encouragement.
