COVID-19 Update: 27 New COVID-19 Cases Reported On August 9

The Ministry of Health has been accelerating COVID-19 prevention, control and treatment measures and procedures. The Ministry reported 27 new COVID-19 cases at 8 p.m. on Tuesday after testing 6,565 patients within 24 hours.

At the time of the report, there’s no patient who died due to the disease while 18 patients have recovered. Confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Myanmar have reached 614,240 with 19,434 deaths and 593,036 COVID-19 patients have been discharged from the hospitals.
