







The Ministry of Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement honoured outstanding offspring of the staff families in the matriculation exam for 2021-2022 academic year and provided stipend for students for 2022-2023 academic year on Tuesday.
At the ceremony, Union Minister Dr Thet Thet Khine said that a total of 1,251 students who are the children of the Ministry’s staff will be provided assistance.
She called for the students to try hard in learning to become the people who can carry out for the development of the region as well as to become good citizens who can be reliable for the state.
At the event, the Union Minister presented certificate of honour to the Deputy Director General of the Department of Disaster Management who got second prize in the Staff Management Course for Executive-Level Officials opened in the Civil Service Academy (Upper Myanmar).
Over 18.3 million kyats were provided for 1,251 students who passed 2021-2022 academic year’s matriculation exam and stipend for 2022-2023 academic year.
