

The State-level Committee on Administration and Management of Coastal Resources held its 2nd meeting at the Rakhine State Government office on Monday.
At the meeting, Chairman of the State Level Committee Rakhine State Chief Minister Dr Aung Kyaw Min said that the state-level working committee on Administration and Management of Coastal Resources has been formed with 22 members and according to the meeting decisions of the National Level Coastal Resource Management Central Committee, as oceanographer and representative from the private sector each have to be included in the state-level committees, the state-level committee has been formed with 24 members.
It needs to accelerate public awareness for conservation of coastal marine resources while performing regularly security measures, Rule of Law, monitoring and control of illegal tasks along the coastal border.
Officials reported on the 2nd meeting decisions of the National Level Central Committee and implementations on it. Members of the State Government gave suggestions for coastal resources development and committee members reported sector-wise implementations.
