Ecosystem Conservation: MoBA conducts 2nd tree-planting ceremony in Nay Pyi Taw

Ministry of Border Affairs [MoBA] held the 2nd 2022 Monsoon Tree-planting ceremony on Monday in Nay Pyi Taw. This tree-planting ceremony in the compound of Wunna Theikdi Stadium in Zabuthiri Township began with a speech by Union Minister Lt-Gen Tun Tun Naung.

It continued with deputy ministers, permanent secretary, director general, officers and staff planting 500 teak trees. The Union Minister also viewed round the tree planting activity in the compound of the Stadium. It’s reported that in its 1st 2022 Monsoon Tree-planting activity, the Ministry of Border Affairs planted over 10,000 trees including teak, and this time, 1,450 trees including teak as well.
