Investment Affairs: Kayin State Investment Committee holds meeting 5/2022

The Kayin State Investment Committee held the coordination meeting 5/2022 at the meeting hall of the Kayin State Government Office.

In the meeting, Chairman of the Kayin State Investment Committee Chief Minister U Saw Myint Oo said that it is necessary to invite entrepreneurs to invest in order to reduce the use of chemical fertilizers in the region and replace with natural fertilizers.

Due to the development of the new Hpa-An breeding zone, more than 8 billion Kyats have been invested by local breeders and some will invest more, the chief minister explained. He urged officials to invite more investors to invest in the agriculture sector.

Also, Secretary of the Kayin State Investment Committee and Director of the Directorate of Investment and Company Administration U Naing Win Toe presented and clarified the field inspection on the status of the Public Wealth Company Limited’s submission for commercial start-up and appointment of new Kayin State Investment Committee membership. The meeting ended with discussions on investment affairs and remarks by the Chief Minister.
