Regional Development: Development works in Naga Self-administered Zone

Naga Region is one of the Self-administered Zone in Sagaing Region. Naga Region has a mess of mountains and hills but has the less plain land.  Due to the mess of mountains and hills, the transportations system is difficult. For Naga Local farmers, the government developed 30 acres of upgraded farms and 15 acres of farm at Lahe Township in 2021-2022 financial years.

Recently, they also undertook 10 acres of slope terraced farming at the front of Lahe Township and 300 acres of highland farm will be developed in Tike Yan Village, Lahe Township. As the department of Agriculture, they supported the seeds, agricultural inputs and technical assistance to local farmers.

So the agricultures in the region will develop in near future. Also the assistance for the livestock breeding is also provided with the supplements, requirements and planting the nivea grass for animal feeds.

According to the collaboration supporting plans of government and region administrative body, the development of transportation and agricultural and livestock sector will be received in Naga region and the region will change to the development in the future day after day.
