Drug Seizure: Over 440 million kyats worth restricted precursors seized

Over 440 million kyats worth chemicals and restricted precursors have been seized, according to the report of Myanmar Police Force. On July 25th, a combined team of Anti-Narcotic Unit searched a warehouse in MantWayne () area in Muse of Shan State (North), and seized 14.5 tons of Theophylline M. Hydrate, which are illegally stored there, and a vehicle.

The In-charge of the Warehouse was also arrested, and further investigation led to the seizure of 2 tons of Copper Sulphate and 3 tons of Ammonium Nitrate in the warehouse at Pyigyitagun Township in Mandalay Region. The Manager of the warehouse was arrested, and action has been taken in line with the law.
