Sports Facilities: Stake driving and prize presentation

A stake driving ceremony for construction of a bleacher and stadium at ShweKyarPin Sports Ground in Zabuthiri Township of Nay Pyi Taw on Friday.

Union Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs U Min Thein Zan and officials drove the stakes at the designated places construction of the bleacher. PyiThitSan Construction Company will undertake the construction of 480 x 60 ft wide two-storey bleacher at the western wing.

The Union Minister and party continued driving stakes for construction of 180 x 150 ft wide stadium which will be undertaken by Greeco Construction Company. The Union Minister and party later enjoyed the Sepak Takraw events at Wunna Theikdhi Stadium.

The Ministry of Defence won third place, Ministry of Transports and Communication second and the Ministry of Home Affairs first place respectively. The winning teams were presented cash prizes and medals.
