University of Medicine (Mandalay): Upgrading works of infrastructure are underway

University of Medicine (MDY) has already been established for 68 years and undergraduate and postgraduate courses have been conducted and many medical students have been turned out from the university.

The university now offers a number of diploma, master and doctoral programs. The recently opened Ziwaka hall, Mann Yadanapon teaching facility, is a 4 storey building and it will greatly provide the peaceful learning and physical fitness of undergraduate and postgraduate students.

As a result, the university will become a place where qualified doctors are produced for the health care of the public. The University of Medicine (Mandalay) is a medical school continues to be the top choice amongst the prospective students in Myanmar.

More international standard teaching facilities are being constructed at the University of Medicine (MDY) in order to keep abreast not only with the ASEAN countries but also with the other international countries, to achieve a high international university ranking, to improve the learning environment which is the essential infrastructure requirement.
