Mekong-Lancang Cooperation: Innovation & Young Entrepreneurship for Regional Dev’t

A ceremony to launch “Hybrid Seminar on Innovation and Young Entrepreneurship for Regional Development” that is conducted by the Ministry of Industry with the 2nd batch of Mekong-Lancang Cooperation Special Fund was held at the Ministry of Industry on Friday.
At the event, Union Minister for Industry Dr Charlie Than said that an economic ecosystem for all to engage in entrepreneurship must implement in the seminar through the cooperation Mekong-Lancang regional countries for successful entrepreneurs, investors, experts, think tanks and other stakeholders.
The Project phase-1 was held from 29th August to 1st September 2019. In the 1st discussion, 6 innovations such as profit model, network, structure process, product performance and product system were discussed. In this seminar, providing services, distribution channel of goods, product brand strength, MSME businesses, widely use of digital system and sharing knowledge for innovations leading human resources will be discussed.
The Union Minister called on youth entrepreneurs to present their good ideas and suggestions to improve the quality of local products. Chinese Minister Counsellor Dr. Zheng Zhihong also said that this program is the cooperation of 6 regional countries and it is also the foundation that can share the knowledge for innovations in the region and entrepreneurship skills.
The seminar is aimed to develop good innovative practices among young entrepreneurs in the region, to share good experiences among successful young entrepreneurs and to connect local entrepreneurs and the civil service personnel. The seminar will last 3 three days and will be held till 24th July.
