Departmental Meeting: SAC Member Holds Meeting In Sagaing Region

Member of the State Administration Council [SAC] Union Minister for Home Affairs Lt-Gen Soe Htut held a meeting with the Kantbalu district-level departmental personnel in Kantbalu Township of Sagaing Region.
This meeting began with Chairman of the Township Administration Council explaining information of the Kantablu district. In his response, the Union Minister said that there were riots and protests when the Tatmadaw started to maintain the State responsibility to strengthen democracy, but now the disturbances and destruction have decreased.
Departmental personnel need to work hard to carry out their main duties. He also urged attendees to fully implement the Pankhin Project issuing national registration cards for the people who can vote during the next election and continue the COVID-19 Vaccination Programme.
After the meeting, the Union Minister provided cash assistance.
