Pension Withdrawal: Pensions Issued To Pensioners At MEB (2), MDY

Pensions are being issued at Myanma Economic Bank (2), Mandalay for the month of July and there are over 15,000 pensioners. And also, pensions are being issued by using tokens starting from August to save the time.
Ohnmar Aye, Manager, Myanma Economic Bank (2), Mandalay said “We have issued pensions for about 1,100 pensioners starting from 5:15 am. We placed chairs and arranged token numbers for the convenience of pensioners. We have also arranged to issue pensions to 200 pensioners per hour in average in accordance with dates and times in their tokens.”
The number of pensioners is over 7,000 in average per month atMyanma Economic Bank (2), Mandalay. Pensioners need to bring their smart cards and tokens when they take out their pension salary.
Pensioner said “I have retired for about 10 years and I withdraw my pension every month. It’s very convenient for me by using tokens in taking out my pension salary and sometimes, I meet my old colleagues at the bank so that I feel pleased to talk with them.”
Meanwhile, Myanma Economic Bank (1) and (2) in Mawlamyaing are issuing pensions daily from 9:30 am to 2:00 pm starting from 21st July in line with the COVID-19 rules and regulations.
