South Korean president meets US treasury chief

US Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen met with South Korean President Yoon Suk-yeol in Seoul on Tuesday.Yellen is on a two-day visit to South Korea.She visited the LG Science Park, the headquarters of South Korea-based major global battery maker LG Chem and held a meeting with Bank of Korea Governor Rhee Chang-yong.Yellen said earlier that the US and South Korea should deepen their trade ties to avoid letting other countries use their market positions to unfair advantage.
