US flags raised in Jerusalem ahead of Biden visit

Israeli authorities in Jerusalem started preparations on Sunday for the visit by US President Joe Biden. The president is set to arrive in Israel on Wednesday for a three-day trip that will also include meetings with Palestinian officials in the occupied West Bank.

Israel will be the first stop on the US leader's Middle East tour. From there he will fly directly to Saudi Arabia. Biden said he was aiming to bring the two countries closer together.
