Australia Labor leader 'humbled' by polls victory

Australia's newly-elected prime minister said he was "humbled" to be given the opportunity to serve the people of Australia.  In his victory speech, Labor leader Anthony Albanese said he planned to lead a government as "courageous and hardworking and caring" as Australians.

Anthony Albanese, New Australian Prime Minister said "My Labor team will work every day to bring Australians together. And I will lead a government worthy of the people of Australia, a government as courageous and hardworking and caring as the Australian people are themselves."

Albanese is set to be sworn in on Monday as the 31st Prime Minister of Australia.
