Receiving Ambassador: Yangon Region CM Received India Ambassador

The Yangon Region Chief Minister U Soe Thein together with the members of the regional government received the India Ambassador to Myanmar Mr. Veney Kumar at the region government office at 9 a.m. on 27th April.

At the meeting, the Yangon Region Chief Minister and India ambassador cordially and frankly exchanged views on the cooperation in the politic, social and economic sector between Myanmar and India, donation of COVID-19 vaccines to Myanmar from India and the continual cooperation of education, health and tourism sector.

Next, the Yangon Region Chief Minister U Soe Thein presented photo album recorded the distributions of rice and wheat to 11 townships in Yangon Region from the donation of 160,000 rice bags and 197750 Kilograms donated by India to the India ambassador Mr. Viney Kumar.
