57th Gems Emporium: SAC Chairman attended the opening ceremony

The State Administration Council Chairman, Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing attended the opening ceremony of 57th Myanma Gems Emporium held at the Mani Yatana Jade Hall, Nay Pyi Taw in the morning on April 22.

Together with the Chairman of State Administration Council, SAC members and SAC joint-secretary, union ministers, Nay Pyi Taw Council Chairman, Governor of Central Bank of Myanmar, commander of Nay Pyi Taw Command, departmental officials, responsible persons from Myanmar Gems and Jewelry Association and invited guests attended the ceremony.

First, the State Administration Council Chairman Prime Minister and attendees viewed the video clip recorded the processes of producing gems and jewelries and preparations for organizing 57th Myanma Gems Emporium and the SAC chairman prime minister instructed to make arrangement to sell the pearls and gems with foreign currencies such as USD, Euro, Yuan as well as with Hong Kong Dollar and Thai Bath.

Next, the SAC chairman prime minister and party inspected the jade and gems lots and pearl lots exhibited inside the Mani Yatana Jade Hall and the raw Jade lots and 35 tons of largest jade block displayed outside the hall.

Afterward, the Chairman of State Administration Council Prime Minister and officials inspected the renovation and upgrading works of Jade Garden and gave necessary instructions upon the reporting of Union Minister U Khin Maung Yi and officials.
