Power Distribution: Meeting on sufficient supply of electricity

A coordination meeting on electricity distribution was held at the Ministry of Electricity and Energy in Nay Pyi Taw on Thursday. Union Minister U Aung Than Oo discussed that efforts will be made for sufficient power distribution in the country by laying down the short and long term plans.

He also stressed to collect full taxation for electricity bill and to make efficient use of electricity by the public. He also pointed out to implement the projects depending on the incomes from the sales of electricity and allotted budget. He also instructed the needs to make inspection for long term maintenance of power plants and power lines as well as the equipment used in the power plants.
