Skills Development: NSSA Presents National-Level Skill Certificates

The National Skills Standards Authority (NSSA) presented the national-level skill certificates at the Ministry of Labour in Nay Pyi Taw on Wednesday. 

Chairperson of the Central Body for Employment and Skill Development, Union Minister for Labour U Myint Kyaing attended the ceremony and stressed the human resources development, skilled labour emergence, industry registration and making the SME sector systematic project.

The ceremony continued with presenting certificates to 504 skilled workers for 3 types of employments, 3 Accredited Assessment Centres and 12 Accredited Assessors as they passed the NSSA exams.

The National Skills Standards Authority (NSSA) has issued a total of 17,103 skill certificates for 30 types of employments since 2014. The NSSA will make an assessment of 5,000 workers for 30 types of employments in the fiscal year of 2022-2023.
