Preparatory Measures: Meeting For Organizing 10th ASEAN Quiz (Regional Level)

Myanmar will host the 10th ASEAN Quiz (Regional Level) in 2022. A 2nd coordination meeting on preparations for holding the ASEAN Quiz (National Level) was held virtually at the MRTV Headquarters, Nay Pyi Taw Tatkone Township on Wednesday.

Chairman of the Working Committee for holding the ASEAN Quiz (National Level), Director General of Myanma Radio and Television of the Ministry of Information U Ye Naing attended at the meeting.

Officials from the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Culture, the Ministry of Home Affairs, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Investments and Foreign Economic Relations, the Ministry of Transport and Communications, the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Hotels and Tourism, the Ministry of Health, Myanmar Computer Professional Association (Yangon), the Ministry of Information and Myanma Radio and Television participated in the virtual meeting from Nay Pyi Taw and Yangon respectively.  

The meeting focused on selecting of 50 students aged between 15 to 18 from the respective regions and states by the Ministry of Education for the national level contest to hold the 10th ASEAN Quiz Regional Level, plans to nominate the contestants for the regional level through the national level quiz and providing technical assistance for the regional level contest.

The ASEAN Quiz is one of the projects of the ASEAN Sub-Committee Meeting on Information(SCI) and it is a biannual event organizedby the ASEAN member states in rotation since 2002. The 10th ASEAN Quiz (Regional Level) will be hosted by Myanmar in December 2022.
