Fuel Distribution: Facilitation On Oil Import And Distribution Process

The Ministry of Commerce held a coordination meeting on the facilitation of the fuel oil import
and distribution process on Tuesday, with the attendance of Union Minister Dr Pwint San.

The discussion focused on rumours spreading in the domestic market, setting a sales limit at retail stations and panic buying of consumers.

The importer companies and SME entrepreneurs who engaged in the sales of fuel reported difficulties in the distribution network and current market conditions.

The officials discussed plans to lessen the worries of the people and the government support. The importer companies agreed to ensure the unlimited distribution process at set reference rates to help consumers stop worrying.
