New Year Paritta Recitation: Taninthayi Region Government organizes the event

Organized by Taninthayi Region Government, Myanmar New Year’s Day paritta recitation was held at Sasana Beikman in Dawei on 17th April.

Taninthayi Region Chief Minister U Myat Ko, the Chief Justice of Taninthayi Region Supreme Court, the regional ministers and invited guests received the Five Precepts from the Chairman Sayadaw of the Region Sangha Nayaka Committee.

Later, sanghas and monks recited parittas to be free from dangers and calamities. The Region Chief Minister and officials then donated offertories to the Sayadaws and monks.

The congregation then listened to the sermon from the Joint-Secretary Sayadaw of the Region Sangha Maha Nayaka Committee and shared the merits gained.
