Thingyan Festival: Water Pandal of C-in-C Office closed successfully

Closing ceremony of water pandal of the office of the Commander-in-Chief (Army, Navy and Air) was held on 16th April.

On behalf of the Chairman of the State Administration Council Prime Minister Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing, Vice Chairman of the State Administration Council, Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services, Commander-in-Chief (Army), Vice Senior General Soe Win attended the ceremony, together with the SAC members, Union Ministers, Deputy Ministers, senior military officers, Tatmadawmen and families.

The Vice Senior General and party enjoyed the performances of dance troupes and presented honorary cash award to the artists and dance troupes. It was followed by the the performance of dance troupes along the song “Man Taung Yeik Kho” to close the water pandal. 

Likewise, the Vice Senior General and party visited the water pandal of Nay Pyi Taw Command and enjoyed the entertainments by the famous artists, vocalists and dance troupes. They also joined the water throwing together with the military officers, Tatmadawmen and families.

Being the final day of Thingyan water festival, water pandals in the compound of the Office of the Commander-in-Chief (Army) were also crowded with the revellers who enjoyed the entertainments of the artists and dance troupes.
