Thingyan Atat Day: Revelers enjoyed Water Festival at the pandals

Thingyan revelers merrily enjoyed the Atat Day of Thingyan on 16th April. At Nay Pyi Taw Mayor Pandal, artists, vocalists and dance troupes staged entertainments to the revelers with songs and dances.

Charity feasts are also treated to the performers and revelers. >>> At Yangon City Maha Thingyan Pandal, Thingyan songs and dances were entertained to the revelers by the artists and famous vocalists.  

In Mandalay, dance troupes performed to the revelers while artists and vocalists staged songs and dances.

Thingyan is a time for people to learn from the past and to look for the future, and it is a four-day-celebration of Water Festival from 13th to 16th April.

During Thingyan, people enjoy throwing water to each other to ward off the misdeeds of the previous year and to bring good lucks and prosperity for the coming new year.
