Thingyan Festival: SAC Chairman joins celebrations in Pyin Oo Lwin

On the Akyat day of the Myanmar Traditional Maha Thingyan on Friday, Chairman of the State Administration Council Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing and wife Daw Kyu Kyu Hla enjoyed the water festival at the Pyin Oo Lwin station family water-splashing pandals.

The Senior General and party were welcomed by officers, other ranks and their family members of the Pyin Oo Lwin Station. They watched the performances of the family coral dance troupes and the singings and took part in the water splashing.

Also, the Senior General attended the Thingyan Festival celebration at Tatmadaw communication and electronic school, Pyin Oo Lwin Tatmadaw Hospital and Tatmadaw Engineering School, watched the performances of the family coral dance troupes and the singings and took part in the water splashing.

Later the day, the Senior General visited the KharTawMi Family water pandal, watched the performances of the family coral dance troupes and the singings, took part in the water splashing and presented cash awards to the dance troupes.
