Thingyan Celebration: VSG visited water pandals of C-in-C (Army)’s Office

Thingyan revelers including military officers, Tatmadawmen and families enjoyed the water festival on Thingyan Akya Day at the water pandals in the compound of the Office of the Commander-in-Chief (Army) on 14th April.

Famous artists and vocalists entertained at the pandal along with the performance of Thingyan dance troupes.

Vice Chairman of the State Administration Council, Deputy Prime Minister, Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services, Commander-in-Chief (Army) Vice Senior General Soe Win, together with the SAC members, Union Ministers, Deputy Ministers, senior military officers and wives, enjoyed the celebration.

In the evening, the Vice Senior General and party visited the water pandals near the family housings, and enjoyed the entertainments by the famous artists, vocalists and dance troupes.

They also took part in the water throwing with the family memebrs and served the charity feasts to the revellers.
