Thingyan Celebration: Water festival celebrated in Bago

Bago Region Chief Minister U Myo Swe Win and the Regional Ministers took part in splashing water at the central pandal, walking Thingyan and giving charity feasts in Bago on 14th April, Thingyan Akya Day.

The Region Chief Minister and party participated in the Thingyan activities together with the people at the water pandals and they also cordially greeted the locals who had charity food arranged by the regional government.

Organized by Bago Region Government, 1383 Myanma Traditional Thingyan water festival is being celebrated resoundingly at the central pandals and public water pavilions including walking Thingyan in Bago.

The charity feasts are also offered to people at the pandals and people takes part in the festival with peace of mind. Famous artists and musicians also entertain with music at the central pandal in Bago from the first to the last day of Thingyan.
