







Thingyan Festival is being held across the nation. On a-kyo nei, the 1st day of the festival, families of the Office of the Commander-in-Chief (Army, Navy and Air) inaugurated the water-throwing pavilion on the lawns of Nay Pyi Taw Zeyathiri Golf Course in accord with the Myanmar traditions.
On behalf of Chairman of the State Administration Council (SAC) Prime Minister Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing, SAC Vice-Chairman Deputy Prime Minister Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Commander-in-Chief (Army) Vice-Senior General Soe Win, SAC members General Mya Tun Oo, Admiral Tin Aung San, Lt-Gen Soe Htut and Lt-Gen Yar Pyae, Council Secretary Lt-Gen Aung Lin Dwe, Union Minister for Border Affairs Lt-Gen Tun Tun Naung, Chief of the General Staff (Army, Navy and Air) General Maung Maung Aye, Commander-in-Chief (Navy) Admiral Moe Aung, Commander-in-Chief (Air) General Tun Aung, senior military officers from the Office of the Commander-in-Chief and their wives, Tatmadaw members and their families attended the event.
Vice-Senior General Soe Win and the party ceremonially opened the pavilion. Traditional performances were also staged at the opening along with water throwing.
