Donation Of Offertories: Sagaing Region CM Offered Rice And Offertories

The Sagaing Region Chief Minister U Myat Kyaw together with the region ministers, region level departmental officials, Chairmen and members of Monywa District/Township Administration Councils and officials concerned offered offertories, rice, cooking oil, salt and foodstuff to the Sayadawgyis of Lay Taung Pyin monastery and Dakkhinayon monastery in Ahlon Ward, Monywa Township on 11 April.

At the community hall in Lay Taung Pyin monastery, the region government offered offertories, rice, cooking oil, salt and foodstuff to the Sangha residing in Thayetpyin monastery, KaungHmuDaw, Myo-U Yar Kyaw, Mahatharagon monasteries for the convenience of the Sangha in the availability of alms-food.

Next, the region chief minister together with the officials related to the religious matters at the community hall of Dakkhinayon monastery and offered the offertories, rice, cooking oil, salt and foodstuff to the Sayadawgyis of SanKyaung monastery, MyomaYokeSone, MulaOkeKyaung and KyaungGyi monasteries.

The chief minister also contributed one million Kyats of cash donation for the AyeSayTi ShittMyatHna pagoda under construction in the compound of Dakkhinayon monastery and viewed around the construction works of the pagoda, it’s reported.
