Efforts for Public Health: Union Minister inspects Lashio General Hospital

Union MInister for Health Dr. Thet Khaing Win inspected the Lashio General Hospital in Shan State. There, the Union Minister inspected children's ward, orthopaedic ward and surgical ward and met with medical experts and staff.

In the meeting, the Union Minister expressed words of thanks to them for their efforts for the public healthcare despite difficulties and challenges. He also met with patients, expressed words of encouragement and explained advantages of receiving COVID-19 vaccines.

The Union Minister also inspected out-patient ward, laboratory and blood bank and stressed systematic storage of blood and emergency healthcare services during Thingyan Festival.

Also, he inspected oxygen plant and gave instructions to supply enough oxygen. The Union Minister also inspected RT-PCR lab, viewed COVID-19 test process and gave necessary instructions.
