Public Healthcare: Oxygen plant opened at 100-bed Tutkone Township Hospital

A new health facility, the oxygen plant, was opened at the 100-bed Tutkone Township Hospital in Nay Pyi Taw area. Chairman of the Nay Pyi Council area Dr. Maung Maung Naing and officials attended this oxygen plant opening ceremony donated by local well-wishers in the area.

The Township Hospital has also been giving treatment to COVID-19 patients since the outbreak. The construction cost for the oxygen plant is over 150 million Kyats. The plant can produce 200 40-litre cylinders with oxygen if it operates 24 hours a day. It’s learnt the Hospital will provide its oxygen not only to its patients but to patients in the Tutkone Township area also.
