
The Ministry of Health has been accelerating COVID-19 prevention, control and treatment measures and procedures. The Ministry reported 51 new COVID-19 cases at 8 p.m. on Monday after testing 11,345 patients within 24 hours.
No patient has died due to the disease while 201 patients have recovered and were discharged from hospitals. Confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Myanmar have reached 611,926 with 19,433 deaths and 590,192 COVID-19 patients have been discharged from the hospitals.

Globally, as of 8:11 pm CEST, 4 April 2022, there have been over 489 million confirmed cases of COVID-19, including over 6.15 million deaths.
