



The Ministry of Investment and Foreign Economic Relations on Friday introduced better services for smooth process of investment under the title “Unboxing Investment Facilitation Toolkit 2022”.
Union Minister U Aung NaingOo stressed that the new facilities will provide smooth and effective services for the current and potential investors, and it could help promote the investment for the country through reciprocal cooperation between the government and private sector.
The new services include the DICA Online Solution (DOSo), Standard Operation Procedures (SOPs) for One Stop Service, Cost of doing business in Myanmar Survey Report 2022 and DICA Info Android Mobile Application.
Deputy Director General, Directorate of Investment and Company Administration, Min ZawOo said “We aims to support for investment promotion and investment aftercare services. We will carry out the process through Smart Program which is streaming and simplifying the procedures, maximizing the online services, reducing burdens, and transparency.”
Through DOSo platform, local and foreign investors can enquire about investment matters, rules and regulations while they can also call for ideas and suggestions from the officials concerned.
SOPs for the One Stop Services explain the procedures for applying license and permits.
The Survey Report on Cost of Doing Business in Myanmar also provides information on the condition of land, building, workforce, taxation, export/import statistics and expenses.
Moreover, the activities of DICA, its announcements, investment data and questions and answers for most inquires by the investors can easily be studied through the newly launched Mobile Application.
