Education Sector: MOE Union Minister met Japanese Media

Union Minister for Education Dr Nyunt Pe received Head of Asia Region Bureau of Asahi Shimbum Daily Mr Onaga Tadao in Nay Pyi Taw on Sunday.

The Union Minister made detailed clarification on the condition of education sector before, during and post COVID-19 period. He explained that the basic education high schools and universities have been reopened when the infection rate was declined, and now an academic year was completed for basic education schools.

Arrangements have been made for constant learning of the students as normal academic year. New teachers were also appointed and they have been provided with the refresher training courses. The Union Minister said for cooperation with Japan in implementing the nation’s education sector.
