







Ministry of Immigration and Population honoured the Tanintharyi Region for successful implementation of the Pan Khin Project issuing National Registration cards [NRCs] and household lists.
Union Minister U Khin Yi, regional chief minister U Myat Ko and many other officials attended the honouring ceremony in Kawthoung. In his address, the Union Minister stressed the importance of National Registration Card for election and rights of National Registration Card holders.
He also expressed words of thanks for the successful implementation of the Pan Khin Project in the Region. Also, U Myat Ko gave a speech and expressed words of thanks to concerned officials for the successful implementation of the Project.
Certificates of honour and memorable badges were presented to the officials and staff who made efforts for the Project. Also, some staff were promoted during the ceremony.
In Tanintharyi Region, 140398 National Registration cards were issued under the Pan Khin Project. It’s learnt that Bago Region, Ayeyawaddy Region, Nay Pyi Taw Union Territory, Mandalay Region and Tanintharyi Region have successfully implemented the Pan Khin Project so far.
