Full Moon Day Of Tabaung: People Performed Meritorious Deeds at Pagodas

Myanmar people celebrated the Full moon Day of Tabaung on Wednesday by performing meritorious deeds. In Nay Pyi Taw, a golden robe offering ceremony was held at Uppata Sandhi Pagoda. Moreover, people paid homage to the prominent pagodas around Nay Pyi Taw.

In Yangon, Shwedagon Pagoda Board of Trustees organized 2610th ceremony of reciting parittas. The congregation listened to the sermon delivered by the Sayadaw and donated offertories, and day meal to the Sayadaws.

In Mandalay, the prominent pagodas including MahaMyat Muni, MahaLawkaMarazeinKuthodaw Pagoda, and Mandalay Hill SutaungPyae pagoda were crowded with pilgrims. Likewise, pagodas in Bagan ancient archaeological zone have seen many pilgrims and visitors from near and far.
