COVID-19 Update: 683 New Cases With 3 Deaths Reported on March 15

The Ministry of Health has been accelerating COVID-19 prevention, control and treatment measures and procedures.

The Ministry reported 683 new COVID-19 cases at 8 p.m. on Tuesday after testing 23,500 lab specimens within 24 hours. 3 patients have died due to the disease while 937 patients have recovered and were discharged from hospitals. Confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Myanmar have reached 606,910 with 19,414 deaths and 559,673 COVID-19 patients have been discharged from the hospitals.

The World’s worst-hit countries are the United States of America, India, Brazil, France, the United Kingdom, Germany, Russian Federation, Turkey, Italy and Spain according to the World Health Organization. Globally, as of 5:56pm CET on 15 March, there have been over 458 million confirmed cases of COVID-19, including over 6.047 million deaths.
