Returnees From Abroad: Myanmar Nationals Return Home Via Border Crossings

Myanmar nationals from abroad are welcomed at various border crossings. On 14th March, a total of 183 returnees including 131 males and 52 females came back home through Tachileik in eastern Shan State.

Likewise, 96 males and 71 females, altogether 167 returned to Myawady in Kayin State. Healthcare officials from relevant public hospitals and members of the Tatmadaw Medical Corps conducted COVID-19 tests and provided quarantine entry documents for the returnees.

They also explained the instructions of the Ministry of Health and departmental officials provided necessary assistance.

The township administration then transported them to their respective places in vehicles and the infected people were kept in separate places to facilitate necessary medical and administrative matters.
