As COVID cases decline, Canada is announcing a loosening of travel restrictions starting at the end of February.  Canada's health minister told that vaccinated travellers will no longer need a molecular COVID-19 test to come into the country.

Instead, they will be able to choose a rapid antigen test, if it is approved by the country in which it is purchased.  But, the rapid tests must still be administered by a laboratory or health care provider. Canada's health ministry also announced that unvaccinated children who are under the age of 12, and who are traveling with vaccinated adults, will not have to isolate from school or other facilities for 14 days after their arrival.

Unvaccinated foreign nationals are still barred from entering Canada, and unvaccinated Canadians will need to be tested at the airport and again eight days after arrival, and isolate for 14 days. More Canadian airports will be receiving international flights after February 28. Currently, only 18 Canadian airports have been receiving international flights.
