COVID-19 Update: 1,473 New Cases Reported At 8 P.M. On February 13

The Ministry of Health has been accelerating COVID-19 prevention, control and treatment measures and procedures.

The Ministry reported 1,473 new COVID-19 cases at 8 p.m. on Saturday after testing 20,850 patients within 24 hours. 648 patients have recovered and were discharged from hospitals. Confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Myanmar have reached 546,771 with 19,310 deaths and 517,530 COVID-19 patients have been discharged from the hospitals. 

The Ministry urged the public to follow the COVID-19 preventive measures systematically and to receive the vaccines according to the prioritized groups. As of 12th February,  over 22.8 million people have been vaccinated with more than 19.7 million people completed two doses and over 3 million people for first jab.
