COVID-19 Update: 1,607 New Cases Reported At 8 P.M. on February 11

The Ministry of Health has been accelerating COVID-19 prevention, control and treatment measures and procedures.

The Ministry reported 1,607 new COVID-19 cases at 8 p.m. on Friday after testing 24,707 patients within 24 hours. 983 patients have recovered and were discharged from hospitals. Confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Myanmar have reached 543,511 with 19,310 deaths and 515,816 COVID-19 patients have been discharged from the hospitals.

The World’s worst-hit countries are the United States of America, India, Brazil, France, the United Kingdom, Russian Federation, Turkey, Italy, Germany and Spain, according to the World Health Organization. Globally, as of 7:21pm CET, 11 February 2022, there have been over 404 million confirmed cases of COVID-19, including over 5.78 million deaths.
